Fequently Asked Questions - Aero ü When will I need to change the cartridge?  It depends on the hours of use and the condition of the air.  At 3-4 hours a day, the cartridge can last about a year; if the filter is run 24 hours a day, it will be almost two months (based on approximate duration of 1200 hours).  To extend the life of the cartridge, you can clean its surface using the hose extensions on your vacuum cleaner.  Why is the air filter making so much noise?  The air filter is not a silent running unit, but its volume can be controlled by pressing the “ON/SPEED” button.  When the light on the right is lit, the unit is at the lowest power level which is also the quietest. I just started using the air filter, but it doesn’t seem to work properly.  Make sure you opened up the filter and removed the cartridge from the plastic bag before using your air filter. If the lights do not turn on, make sure the unit is plugged in and the “ON/SPEED” button is firmly pressed. If the unit does not turn on, try plugging it in to a different outlet.
